I write primarily historical suspense. Short stories, novels, and occasionally a little poetry. I'm a former writer for Inquisitr and wrote about 70 articles. I reported mostly on crime and you can read those articles here. I'm a charter member of the Midwest Writers Workshop and a member of the International Thriller Writers.

I have a passion for the classics and read them more often than contemporary fiction. I'm a big fan of Fyodor Dostoyevsky. I've read most of his works and my favorite, Crime and Punishment, I've read several times. I'm also a fan of Patricia Highsmith. Noticing a theme here? The anti-hero. Need some ideas for classic books to read? Goodreads has a great list of classic fiction. There's a reason these books have sustained the test of time.

When not writing, I'm an ER nurse and enjoy gardening. I earned my nursing degree from Indiana University. My gardening degree from trial and error!
